Brooklyn is in the Presence of God

For those of you who have been following Brooklyn’s Journey Home, her journey is now complete. Brooklyn died on March 1, 2022. Brooklyn captured our hearts and minds with her faith in Jesus as she faced the final enemy, death. You can read her inspiring story here. Below is a portion of what her sister posted on Brooklyn’s public Facebook page.

She passed peacefully and comfortably in the early morning hours of March 1st. Thank you to all who have followed and shared my sister’s story over the last two months. Brooklyn’s greatest desire was for people to hear about Jesus and to know without a shadow of a doubt where they will go when they die. It is our hope and prayer that you now know Jesus too.

Both Brooklyn and our family have been so overwhelmed and touched by all of your encouraging words and stories. We are in awe of how the Lord has used Brooklyn in such a difficult time to minister to hundreds of thousands of people. The Lord is good, and we are so amazed, humbled, and grateful for how God allowed my incredible sister to share the love of Jesus with people all around the world.

We love Brooklyn so very much and she will be greatly missed. However, we also look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her in heaven. No more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears (Revelation 21:4).

One thing I am sure of is that God will continue to use Brooklyn’s life to shine his light. Though her time on earth is done, the Holy Spirit is not done using her life and story to call many to him and to strengthen the faith of those who already know him.

We will see you soon, Brooklyn.

  4. Brooklyn’s strength in GOD is something to admire. I was browsing thru Youtube and this video suggestion featuring Brooklyn…Amazing, yet sad such a beautiful young woman with her life ahead of her was cut short due to such a terrible illness. Although Brooklyn is with the lord now her message lives on. Thank You Brooklyn for sharing your story. 😦
